Lord, it is only through your strength that I can be holy. The flesh tends to lean towards seeking vengeance, gossiping, sexual immorality, etc. It is like the flesh craves it, but as someone said before the flesh doesn't care about one's afterlife. The flesh wants me to hold grudges, get over on others, lie, etc. However, none of these actions are holy. God, you are a good God, and your children are to reflect your goodness. Lord, help me and my other brothers and sisters in Christ model you. You sent Jesus as the perfect example of loving You and Your commands. It is hard battling the flesh because I have lived in it for so long. Some sins do not seem as bad to me, but this thought is very deceiving. Lord, I need your strength and power to be Holy.
